Hooray for summer! We kick off our summer vacation the same every year, a trip with friends to Pismo Beach. There are lots of teachers in the group so we look forward to it the whole school year! It is the best trip, there is so much for the kids to do, while the adults relax! Here are a few of the highlights!

Walks to the tide pools, where we find all kinds of interesting stuff: starfish, crabs, and this year even a jellyfish!

This year we happened to be there for the "biggest car show in the West!" It was cool to see all the classic cars!

What happens in Pismo stays in Pismo!
Over the years, several different families have joined us, which is always fun, but there is 4 of us that have always gone, us, the Van Zees, the Hughes, and the Dorroughs. It is tradition to have all the kids stand in front of the "Pismo Clam" for a photo....

I wish I could find the photo from the first trip, 6 years ago, but even in these from the last 3 years it is amazing to me how much all the kiddos have grown!
